Bell & Brunt Jewellers is an Adelaide icon. A proud South Australian family business creating one-of-a-kind pieces for over 105 years. Their loyal generations of customers have been their greatest advocates, often sharing their experiences through word-of-mouth and personal recommendations.
Bell & Brunt’s story began in 1919 when Edgar Bell Sr. started a humble jewellery repair business from his home. Not long after, he was joined by William Brunt, forming a partnership built on integrity and an unwavering commitment to excellence in craftsmanship. In 1942, they moved into their James Place workshop – the very same studio they proudly operate from today.
The second generation soon took the reins, with William’s son Keith Brunt joining the business in 1947. With an innovative spirit and natural flair for design, Keith transformed Bell & Brunt from a repair service into a full-scale manufacturing jeweller – introducing one-off handcrafted pieces and opening the doors to the public in the 1960s.
Today, Bell & Brunt specialises in handcrafted, custom-made fine jewellery, created on-site by master jewellers in Adelaide. Their core product offering includes bespoke engagement rings, wedding bands, dress rings and heirloom-quality pieces – each designed in collaboration with qualified master designers and jewellers using premium materials and traditional bench-made techniques.

Alongside custom design and jewellery manufacturing, they offer a full suite of services across the lifetime of a piece, including repairs, rhodium plating, resizing, remodelling, restoration and ongoing maintenance.
